What Encircle is today

Encircle describes itself as "the go-to field app built for restorers", for property restoration companies and the insurance claims work around them. Its site says more than 3,000 restoration shops use it. In a reply to a Google Play review in December 2025, Encircle Inc. mentioned "Encircle's Home Inventory feature" and wrote: "We understand the decision regarding the free usage is disappointing". The current site offers no product for homeowners. If you used it to list your own things, this page is for you.

Where Encircle fits better

  • Restoration and claims work. Moisture maps, drying logs, floor-plan scanning with Send to Xactimate, IICRC-aligned scopes written by AI, e-signatures and Stripe payments. Neatkept does none of this.
  • Claim reports. A Schedule of Loss for adjusters, XactContents import and carrier-specific Excel reports, beside a PDF photo sheet and a box summary.
  • Integrations. Verisk and XactAnalysis, PSA, iRestore, Zapier and a public API.
  • Big teams. Every plan includes unlimited users and storage.

If you run a restoration company or handle claims for clients, Encircle is built for that job.

Where Neatkept fits better

  • Made for your own home. A household holds your homes, rooms, shelves and boxes. You add things when they come in, find them later and move them, every day, not only after damage.
  • Many things from one photo. Photograph an open box or a shelf and Neatkept proposes everything it sees. You keep, edit or drop each one. Nothing reaches the AI until you allow it.
  • A list your insurer can read. Insurance report lists every thing in a home with its photo, place, quantity and value. Things without a value come first so you can fill them in. Totals are counted per currency, and you get an A4 PDF or a CSV.
  • Labels for your boxes. Print a sheet of QR labels from the app or the browser, or write a code like W01 with a marker. A scan opens the box.
  • EU hosting, free to start. Your inventory and photos are stored in Frankfurt, Germany. You can start for free; paid plans are for households that scan a lot with AI or have more members.

Neatkept runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and the web, in twenty-eight languages.
