Several homes, one inventory
A flat, a house, a garden plot, an office, a few storerooms: each is a property in Places. Search, moves and labels work across all of them, so a thing can travel from the flat to the garden shed and you still know where it is.
A tree that fits your home
Inside a property you add rooms, storage, zones and shelves. Levels can be skipped: a zone right on the garden plot, a shelf right in a room. Two places with the same parent can't share a name, so "Office › Storeroom" always means one place.
In a box or right on a shelf
A thing lives either in a box or directly in a place, never both. Boxes stand in a place and take everything inside along when they move. Each place shows its places, its boxes and the things lying there.
The app knows which home you're at
On a property you can tap "I'm here now" to save where it is. When you arrive there, Places opens that property, marks it "You're here" and offers its places first when you put something down. Your own location never leaves the phone.
Nothing vanishes by accident
A place that still holds places, boxes or things can't be deleted. Neatkept asks you to move or delete them first, so one wrong swipe never empties a whole flat.
See it in use
Moving house
You're moving from the city flat to the house. Dozens of boxes, and you want to know which one has the waffle maker.
Find anything in seconds
Your child needs the skis on Saturday, and you have a flat, a house and a garage. Ask once and know where to drive.
Tools to the garden
You need the drill at the garden plot this weekend. It lives in the house's garage, and next month someone will look for it there.
Unpack after moving
The move is done and the hallway is full of boxes you won't unpack this month. One photo per box, and you still know what's in each.
