Stored in the EU

The service runs in the EU: the database and your photos are in Frankfurt, Germany. Neatkept shows no ads, sells no data and has no third-party analytics or tracking in the app.

AI only with your permission

Nothing is sent to the AI models until you allow it: Neatkept asks the first time you scan, search or speak. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → AI. Without it the app still works: add things by hand, search by words, move and share. The models run through DigitalOcean, which doesn't keep what they get or use it for training; names and search queries are turned into search vectors on our own server in Germany, hosted by Hetzner, where nothing is kept.

Export everything

Settings → Your data → Export my data gives you a zip with everything in your households as JSON, plus your photos. The zip is ready to save for 7 days.

Delete your account from the app

Settings → Your data → Delete account. You leave every household. A household you share stays with the others, and one nobody else is in is erased with its photos within an hour. Your email, Apple ID and name are removed at once.
